Expected Triton Beam Parameters and Experiments at John D. Fox Laboratory

  • Energies: 8 - 17 MeV initially, later up to 24 MeV with linac-boost.

  • Intensity: initially limited to 20 nA on target.

  • Experimental setup: Super-Enge Split-Pole Spectrograph, with 5 msr acceptance and full resolution.

  • Other detector systems, including a general-purpose scattering chamber can be available.

Experiments will be prepared and performed in collaboration with FSU scientists, the John D. Fox laboratory is not a user lab. A call for proposals will go out after the successful commissioning and be repeated approximately once a year.
